"Top Club?" |
Why Carlo Ancelotti didn't start him from the bench I don't know. It would have given Stamford Bridge a massive lift to see him on the sideline ready to come on at 60, rather than giving the traveling scousers the lift in seeing him depart. He looked like a frightened kid on the bench, cowering beneath his hood. Quite similar to how he played really, he had one sight of goal, his touch was poor, his movement non exsistent and his body language as shite as it was at Anfield these last few months.
Whats happened to the player that terrorised defences single handily? The best striker in the world? Has a steady, irreversible decline set in? Everyone talks about Wayne Rooneys lack of form stretching so long, but he had multiple reasons. He was injured, had the contract wrangle and was caught knocking off a brass while his wife was pregnant. Torres has been injured, but that should be way behind him, he doesn't look the type to be caught with a lady of the night, a rent boy maybe but not a brass! I very much think that this could tun out to be the worst move since that infamous family decamped from Florida to New Orleans 2 days before Hurricane Katrina. I'm not a Liverpool fan, not by any stretch but I would take great delight in seeing them finish above Chelsea this season.
