Bellamy Faces Charges After Fracas

Craig Bellamy is in trouble yet again after being slapped with an improper conduct charge for his behaviour after the final whistle in the game between Cardiff and Reading. The Welshman scored the equalising goal deep into injury time and then proceeded to throw his weight around in the tunnel after full time. Cardiff released a statement saying "We acknowledge receipt of these charges and let it be known that we will respond within the 10 day guidelines as set by the FA."

Bellamy has a long history of violence including battering then team mate John Arne Risse with a golf club after a drunken dispute. He also faced charges after allegedly assaulting two women on a night out in Cardiff and most recently he was nicked over another drunken scrap in Cardiff. And who can forget when he smacked a restrained Manchester United fan after being goaded about the score?
