Salgado - Uniteds fans were the best

Michel Salgado has today stated that Manchester Uniteds fans were the best he ever played in front of.
The legendary Spainish fullback refers to the 2 Champions League games in the early 2000's that when Real played United. He remembers the standing ovation the Old Trafford faithful gave Ronaldo got after he scored a beautiful hat trick. Salgado tells us that after the match in the dressing room Raul was marvelling at the United fans applauding Madrid off the pitch, when another teammate said "if we had fans like that at home, we would never lose".
