FIFA have suspended executive committee members Amos Adamu and Reynald Temarii after they faced allegations of corruption regarding World Cup votes.
The duo were implicated after a Sunday Times journalist accused them of accepting money in return for their vote in the upcoming bidding for the World Cup.
Adamu has announced he will appeal against the sentence he recieved from the chairman of FIFA's ethics committee Claudio Sulser.
Adamu was suspended from all football-related activity for three years and fined 10,000 Swiss francs (£6,341), while Temarii received a one-year and 5,000 Swiss francs (£3,170) punishment.
