England coach Fabio Capello says he will not apologise to skipper Steven Gerrard after failing to honor an agreement to substitute him after 60 minutes. As a result Gerrard picked up a hamstring injury that looks set to keep him out for up to a month. Capello was unrepentant simply saying "injuries can happen, he is an important player and we were trying to win the game". It is understood that Liverpool may seek as much as £500,000 in compensation as a result of the injury.
