Arnesen to leave Chelsea

Chelsea have been dealt another blow with the news that Frank Arnesen has decided not to sign a new contract and will leave the club at the end of the season. This coming hot on the heels of Ray Wilkins sacking will be a fresh blow to Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti who was known to be very close to Arnesen. Arnesen is credited with bringing talented youngsters such as Gael Katuka and Jeffrey Bruma to the West London club, both played a major part in Chelsea winning the FA Youth cup for the first time last season, in a team packed with Arnesen recruits.
How the beleaguered Ancelotti will deal with this remains to be seen, the Italian is known to becomingly increasingly disillusioned with life at Chelsea. The owner refuses to open open his cheque book to sanction a January move to alleviate the defensive headache at Chelsea. This headache has seen the club having to put off operations to both Alex and Englands Brave John Terry.
How this will play out is anyone's guess, but rumour's abound Chelsea that Ancelotti will not renew his deal and will instead return to Italy. He gave an interview in an Italian paper midweek in which he admitted to becoming increasingly frustrated to life at Chelsea.
