Manchester United's signing of the Danish international Anders Lindegaard is still in the pipeline, even though it had been expected to be concluded by now. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson today spoke about the deal, telling the assembled press that he expects the deal to be done "in the next two or three weeks" and that there has been "no hiccups".
The deal is said to be worth £3.5 million and Lindegaard will be expected at Old Trafford in January.
Lindegaard himself seems to be relaxed about the apparent stalling of the deal, telling the press that "I still have 2 years left on my contract".
Lindegaard who is the Danish number 1, came in for criticism from the idiotic ex United keeper Peter Schmeichel recently and it remains to be seen whether his "dream" move will become reality.
