Premier League Predictions

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Arsenal

Arsene Wenger will surely have read the riot act to his players after throwing away a two goal lead against Spurs and losing to Braga midweek. This coupled with the fact that Villa have only won one game in their previous eight is enough to convince me that Arsenal even without Fabregas will pick up a win.

Bolton 2 - 0 Blackpool

After putting five past Newcastle last week Bolton will be on a high and their strike force will most likely be too much for Blackpool to handle.

Everton 1 - 0 West Brom

Both sides are struggling for results so this could be a close run affair but with home advantage weighing in Everton's favour I can see them clinching the win.

Fulham 1 - 1 Birmingham

Birmingham picked up three valuable points against Chelsea last week which saw them climb above Fulham in the table. I'd expect another close game here, with Fulham drawing a lot of games at home and Birmingham drawing a lot away, a draw could well be on the cards again.

Man Utd 2 - 0 Blackburn

Blackburn are in good form having won three of their last four games, but I can't see them overcoming United at home. Rovers will be less than happy to see Rooney make a goal scoring return last night.

Stoke 2 - 1 Man City

Stoke's home form is as good as ever and with three wins on the bounce in the league I can see them turning over Man City. City have a few injuries to key defenders which could leave them a little exposed at the back allowing Stoke to nick it.

West Ham 2 - 0 Wigan

Battle of the relegation candidates here and I think this will be the day the Hammers get the win they've been waiting for, seeing as Wigan are rather poor on the road.

Wolves 1 - 3 Sunderland

Sunderland's strike force are a match for any in the league at the moment and they must be relishing a trip to Wolves who are second bottom of the table right now. Gyan in particular is in great form and with Darren Bent back from injury it has to be a Sunderland win.

Newcastle 2 - 1 Chelsea

Chelsea are vulnerable at the moment and if Newcastle can put them under pressure early I think they'll crack. Drogba hasn't scored since the first weekend in October, Terry, Essien and Lampard are missing through injury, so that's the spine of the team taken away.

Spurs 1 - 1 Liverpool

This season Spurs have struggled after European games and Liverpool have just struggled full stop. The combination of the two could produce a stalemate.
