Mourinho On Fergie
Mourinho was guest of honour at the League Managers Association’s annual Hall of Fame Dinner recently, where he was asked about Manchester United manager Sir Alex's recent remarks suggesting he had no intention to retire. Mourinho first described Ferguson as "amazing" and then went on to say “When I heard Sir Alex say this I was laughing because I was not surprised. He has an incredible humour but at the same time brightness and commonsense. For me he is amazing as he is the same person I met in 2004. I have more white hair and more wrinkles but he is exactly the same." The once rival managers have a great relationship with many seeing "the special one" as an eventual successor to Sir Alex.
