Rumours have been circulating that Owen Coyle would be forced to sell some of his talented squad in January following Bolton's poor financial results. It is thought that the likes of Gary Cahill and Kevin Davies would be up for grabs but the manager released a statement denying the reports. Coyle said " There was obviously conjecture and speculation because of the financial results which weren't great, but I've been reassured that we don't need to sell anybody in January and as it happens I'll be looking to strengthen. We don't have the greatest numbers but we have quality. We want to build the team to take the club on but to do that we need to recognise that the hard work is ahead of us."
If the club did decide to sell there would be no shortage of takers as Coyle's side has performed excellently all season.
